In a commanding performance, Rwanda secured a 7-wicket victory over Namibia in Game 8 of the ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier. After electing to bat first, Namibia set a total of 101 runs, which Rwanda chased down with relative ease, finishing at 102/3 in just 17.3 overs.

Namibia’s Innings

Namibia’s innings got off to a rocky start, and they managed to put together 101 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in their 20 overs. Mekelaye Ndaukatekeka Mwatile was the standout batter, scoring 33 runs off 28 balls, featuring 6 boundaries with a strike rate of 117.86. However, the rest of the batting lineup struggled to build partnerships, with the team’s total hampered by Rwanda’s disciplined bowling.
